It’s no secret that I love a good TED Talk – I’m sure we all have our faves. One man I rate extremely highly is former Chief Economist of the World Bank, Lord Nicholas Stern. His knowledge, communication and negotiation on climate change is second to none.
He’s the author of ‘Review on the Economics of Climate Change’ – one of the most influential papers that looks at the real economics of addressing climate change…or what will happen if we keep burying our heads in the sand. And last year he presented a ground breaking paper to the UN’s Climate Summit titled ‘The New Climate Economy’. So if numbers don’t lie, this man has some serious truths to tell!
Nicholas Stern poses this question which I love “Will we make this century the best of centuries, or the worst of centuries?” I don’t know about you guys, dear readers, but I’ve got my sights focussed on making it the Best Century EVER!
Check out this man and his wonderful TED Talk.
